Demining

One of the most praiseworthy jobs I have ever seen in my life. The deminers at Artsakh’s (Nagorno Karabakh) deal with many challenges. Beside the stress of searching for mines, the conditions are hard and the work itself is physically tough.

A day of work includes 9 shifts, 40 minutes each and 10 minutes break in between. Not only do they risk their life but also they sacrifice a lot in person.

Today, so long after the war has ended, the people of Artsakh are still waiting for the cleaning of the last remainders of the war. HALO in Nagorno Karabakh are pushing forward for that.
